To help ensure the safe arrival and dismissal of all our students, we ask that all parents keep the following arrival and dismissal procedures in mind:

Lower School
Carpool Guidelines
- Please travel only in the southbound direction on West Avenue – The way to access West Avenue is by traveling north on Wisconsin, taking a right on Walsh Street, and then a final right onto West Avenue.
- Please remember, that you should not turn from Bradley Lane onto West Avenue and East Avenue or make a U-turn on West Avenue. Cars traveling northbound or parked across the street are a hindrance to Carpool Line Procedures and compromise the safety of our students.
- All cars in the drop-off/pick-up line must be attended. Please ensure that your hazard lights are on while dropping off your child and waiting during pick-up.
- Please do not use electronic devices. Please do not use cell phones while driving, parking, or otherwise participating in the Arrival or Dismissal line. If you are early, we encourage you to wait in the Walsh Street Parking Lot until the dismissal time of your child.
- Please do not make U-turns in the pick-up line and please, out of respect for our neighbors, do not use our neighbor’s driveways to turn around.
- If you need to escort your child to his or her classroom, please park your car before walking your child into the building.
- Cars cannot double-park during Arrival and Dismissal.
Please Be PAtient
Please be mindful, patient, and courteous – The School’s number one goal is the safety of our students during Arrival and Dismissal. Our Staff makes every effort to keep traffic moving smoothly and to escort students from or to your vehicles as quickly as possible. Please do have extra patience on bad weather days!
Parking
Parking may be found in the following areas:
- The School Parking Lot: Little Stars and Children’s Peace Garden parents may park for 15 minutes in spaces designated with signs for Oneness-Family School.
- Walsh Street Public Parking Lot: Located two blocks from the School, between Leland and Walsh Streets.
- Staples Parking Lot: Paid parking is available in the garage under Staples.
- West Avenue Street Parking: If you can find a spot on the school side of West Avenue (right in front of the school), you may park there even though the street sign indicates “Permit Required.” The spots on the other side of West Avenue are reserved for school faculty and staff.
Please do not park on Ridge Street or other neighborhood streets, in the Trader Joe’s Parking Lot, or in any parking spaces in the school lot that are not designated for Oneness-Family School.
We thank all our parents in advance for being mindful of our neighbors and following the posted street signs. Together we can ensure that our morning arrival and afternoon dismissal run as easily and safely as possible for all our families.
