Hello Moon and Sun Families
We hope you are all planning to be here for our CPG Spring Special on Friday, May 15th, the most special day for our students all year. Everyone is working very hard on all of the preparations for the performance and picnic.
We will need our students to arrive early that day, because instead of a regular 9:00 Friday Community Meeting, our students will perform a special show in the St. John’s sanctuary. This will be followed by a mini picnic (weather permitting) at Norwood Park, where your children will arrive by bus and join you to serve you some light, delicious, small treats they have prepared. You can even bring your own picnic lunch as well, as theirs is just a wee taste of Asia for your palate.
Timing: After an early drop-off, the student performance takes place from 9:00 to 9:30 or so, and when this concludes, the families should all go over to Norwood Park and spread out a blanket in the area near the loop driveway, between the playground and the two houses. The children will meet you there shortly after, transported together in our large bus.
The school day ends by 11:30, when students are dismissed to their families and teachers return to campus for clean-up and other tasks.
We request confirmation by this Thursday May 7th from each family to let us know that you have received this invitation message for Spring Special and are planning to join us for the performance and picnic afterward. We want to be sure that none of our messaging has missed anyone.
What we need from you:
> RSVP by Thursday
> Drop off at 8:30 on May 15
> Bring a picnic blanket
> Students all picked up/dismissed to their families at Norwood by 11:30.
Please email your child’s classroom teachers to RSVP.
Thank you
