    Ending a Unique Year

    06/11/2021

As we approach our promotion and graduation ceremonies, we look back on an extraordinarily difficult and challenging year. Because of the pandemic, we could not give each other hugs, sit and chat on the deck in front of the school, or do many of the community activities we normally plan each year.

    Reflections on January 6th

    01/08/2021

The invasion of our Capitol on January 6th was a watershed moment in the history of the United States. It will sit among the darkest moments in our nation’s history and will continue to haunt us as we try to understand what led to this disturbing event.

Well, it has been a summer like no other. Vacation plans have had to be modified or canceled altogether. We’ve had to live with completely altered schedules and in anxiety for our families’ health and well-being.

    Education Needs a Radical Change

    02/01/2020

After watching a film about the life of Jane Goodall, and then reading a recent interview with her, I was struck by her stark observations regarding the state of our planet.

Family is not measured by the number of chairs around the dining table, but by the names we give to those who care for us. It’s not the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the shows we watch or the games we play.

Family is our love and mutual respect for each other. Forging a community that extends to the home of every student. We find family by coming together in shared moments. Offering celebration in triumph, compassion in sadness, guidance and wisdom for every semester.

We believe family is central to everything we do because humanity is at its best when we work together.

Welcome to Oneness-Family School.
