Healthy Habits = Strong Finish!

Hello Parents,

As we wrap up Trimester 2 and get ready for X-Term, we’re excited for a strong finish to the year! To help our students stay energized and feeling their best, here are a couple of friendly reminders:

Sleep, Snacks & Self-Care:

Our students’ brains need quality rest and fuel! Consistent sleep, healthy meals, and good daily hygiene habits make a huge difference in focus, mood, and learning. Over the last few weeks, we’ve noticed more students arriving tired lately, which can make it tough to keep up in class and remain engaged throughout the day. If your student is truly exhausted and needs a reset day, please keep them home to rest. They can always email teachers to catch up on any missed work. Having a snack on hand can be helpful as well 🙂

Tech Time vs. Focus Time:

During the school day, phones and personal electronics (other than laptops used for class) are asked to be tucked away until lunchtime. This helps everyone stay focused, engaged, and present in their learning. While we work to continue enforcing this, we appreciate your help in reinforcing these healthy tech habits at home, too! Of course, students are more than welcome to check in with parents if needed. Our high school phone also allows for texts so don’t hesitate to send some our way if things are needing to be communicated!
Check-In:

Regular check-ins at home can have a big impact. Asking about highlights, challenges, friendships, or even just sharing a laugh, helps students feel supported and connected.

Thank you for partnering with us as we head into the final stretch. Let’s finish Trimester 2 strong and head into X-Term refreshed and ready to go! 🙂
