Friday Updates – October 17

Dear Peace Academy Families,

We are looking forward to celebrating UN Day next Friday, October 24th, and welcoming families to campus for this special community event! Here are a few important notes for our Peace Academy students and families:

  • Luncheon Dish Donations: We need family contributions for the luncheon! If you’re able to bring a dish, please sign up using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0945AEA623A0FD0-59029324-united#/Thank you for helping make this event a shared feast of cultures and flavors!
  • Dismissal: CPG–Grade 8 students will dismiss between 1:30 and 1:40 pm.
  • No Aftercare: Please plan accordingly, as there will be no aftercare on this day.
  • Peace Academy Lunch: Our students will not attend the luncheon; they should bring their regular packed lunchas usual.
  • Parking: There is no parent parking in the school lot on UN Day. Please plan to park off site or carpool if possible.
  • Poster Boards: We are sending home each student’s poster board today. Over the next week, your child will arrange their board using the writing and images they have been preparing at school.

We are so proud of the hard work and creativity your children have shown while researching and preparing for UN Day. It will be a joy to see their projects come to life next week!

Warmly,
Emiko Morgenstern & Andrea Dillon
