Friday Updates – October 17

Hello Arbor Families!

We are officially one week away from United Nations Day! Please join us at 10 AM in the sanctuary for our UN Day ceremony. Afterwards, the Arbor students will present their maps and research in our classrooms. We can’t wait for you to see your student’s hard work!

Afterwards, all adults are invited to a delicious international luncheon. If you would like to donate a dish, please follow this link. Also, a reminder that many students will be wearing dress clothes and international clothing, in case you need time to prepare your student’s outfit! Dismissal for the Arbor will begin at 1:35, if you plan on taking your child home before the early dismissal time, please let us know.

If you have any questions about UN Day, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Here are some other important dates coming up:

  • We have a field trip Monday, October 20th to the Billy Goat Trail. Please make sure your student is dressed appropriately, as the trails may be muddy and/or cold!
  • Please send back your form if you plan on participating in the Vision and Hearing Screening taking place on October 28th!
  • Halloween is around the corner! If students would like to dress up, they are welcome to dress as a book character of their choice. We’ll have a circle guessing what character/book they are from to celebrate the holiday!

We hope you have a great weekend, and look forward to seeing you on Monday!
