Friday Update – May 22

Hello Arbor Families! 

  • There is no school on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th. 
  • Tuesday, May 26th is our last field trip of the year! We’re planning on a morning at Cabin John Regional Park with a picnic lunch. Fingers crossed for good weather! 
  • For Third Year families: Remember that Wednesday, May 27th is the departure date for Echo Hill! Please keep an eye out for an email from Shelby with all the details. 
  • Our last day of school for students is Graduation/Promotion Day on Friday, June 5th. This special day is centered around our Graduation and Class Promotion celebrations, including Graduation for our 8th graders. We would love to have as many members of our community present as possible to celebrate together! At the same time, we understand that this is a longer ceremonial day, and student dismissal will be at 11:35am. Families of 1st and 2nd grade students, please let us know if your child will not be attending that day. Thanks for your help!

The Oneness-Family School primary program for students in preschool through kindergarten is grounded in the child-centered, Montessori approach. Middle School

The only Montessori middle school in the region, our students thrive in this academically challenging, interdisciplinary program, developing the time-management, work habits, and social skills important in high school and beyond. Students are encouraged to think critically on how they can make a difference on local, national, and global levels.
