Costa Rica Day 4- Our Last Adventure!

Dear OFHS Families,

Our last full day in Costa Rica packed a punch!

We got up early to a delicious meal of Gallo Pinto, thanks to our master chef, Isla. Then, we headed out on a scenic drive to the Rincón de la Vieja National Park, where most of our crew explored waterfalls and hot spring-laden trails. After a day of old trees, metallic blue butterflies, and rainforest views, Oneness journeyed back to our Airbnb.

Dinner was all-you-can-eat, including guacamole with fresh limes picked from our lime tree, sautéed peppers and onions, fried plantains, and leftovers galore. A small group stayed back to rest, but they ended up having a great day!

Jarrett, Jilly, and Aria played card games for hours, only to be interrupted once by a couple of rambunctious howler monkeys who stopped by to say hello (and check if they could eat our food). The group then walked into town for refreshing fruit sorbets and chats with local vendors.

Finally, the Tamarindo night market next door was alive with tempting scents and crafts. It was a wonderful way to close out our trip! As a reminder, pickup time tomorrow is 11:28 pm at the American Airlines section of Reagan Airport. Our flight number is AA2897.

We can’t wait to see you and tell you all about our time!

P.S. – Check out some photos and videos here!

Best,

The Oneness Team
