(Final!) Friday Updates from the Arbor

Hello Arbor Families!

Has this year sped by for you like it has for us? I can’t believe this is our last Friday email of the school year! We want to give a huge thank you for all the work, trust, and communication you’ve all been a part of since September. Your dedication is truly amazing, and we have been honored to be a part of your student’s journey!

Next week is Spirit Week! Please see the attached schedule for each day’s themes and optional ways to participate, but I want to highlight a few!

Monday, June 1st is Field Day! The Arbor will spend the morning with the rest of the school at Norwood Park, weather dependent. We will have a picnic lunch and some time to play on the field for recess. Please have your student wear practical clothes for running, crawling, and jumping! Because there is a chance of rain, we ask that you pack an extra set of clothes in case we get wet or muddy. We also need everyone to have a water bottle so we can stay hydrated!

Friday, June 5th is Graduation/Promotion! This special day is centered around our Graduation and Class Promotion celebrations, including Graduation for our 8th graders. We would love to have as many members of our community present as possible to celebrate together! At the same time, we understand that this is a longer ceremonial day, and student dismissal will be at 11:35am. Families of 1st and 2nd grade students, please let us know if your child will not be attending that day. Thanks for your help!

Please let us know if you have any questions, and have a great summer!

Kelly, Sara, and Shelby
