Dear Families,
It was wonderful to see so many of you at Bard Night! We might need to do an open mic next year. There are so many musicians in our classroom!
1. Independent Study is on Wednesday, June 3rd, from 9:00-11:30.
If you would like us to consider any scheduling requests, please let us know.
2. It is time to start thinking about taking some belongings home in waves. If you think your student’s locker is full, please send a bag to school next week. They will also be bringing home work and portfolios, so clearing out will occur over a few days of time.
3. Please sign up for the end-of-year (optional) conferences before June 2nd. We can only accommodate meetings on Monday, the 8th, and Tuesday, the 9th.
4. Our last day of school for students is Graduation/Promotion Day on Friday, June 5th. This special day is centered around our Graduation and Class Promotion celebrations, including Graduation for our 8th graders. We would love to have as many members of our community present as possible to celebrate together.
At the same time, we understand that this is a longer ceremonial day. Student dismissal will be at 11:35 am. Families of 4th-grade students who are not participating in promotion activities, please let us know if your child will not be attending that day.
Wishing you a peaceful Memorial Day weekend,
Andrea and Emiko
