Ambassador Classroom News

Dear Parents,

We are writing to share an update about the Ambassadors Middle School program. While both Hannah and Pearl will be returning next school year, we want to let you know about an important change on the horizon.

Hannah has let the school know that she will be leaving in the 2027-28 school year. Hannah has set her sights on advancing in her role as a teacher and will explore leadership opportunities to further her learning and development. This advance notice allows us the unique opportunity to hire a humanities teacher for next year who will work alongside the current team, be trained by Hannah, and replace Hannah for the 2027-2028 school year. Hannah has contributed so much to the development of what the Ambassadors program is today, and will work closely with the new teacher to train them as they develop an understanding of the ins and outs of what the teachers do each day and the philosophy of the school, so that the Middle School program remains academically rigorous, nurturing, and encouraging of students’ social and emotional growth.

The amazing team of Hannah and Pearl has been together teaching our students for over 15 years, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment and dedication as we slowly transition into a new chapter of the Oneness-Family Middle School program.

We are currently interviewing many excellent candidates and will have some of the best come in for demo lessons so we can see their interaction with our students. I know whoever we choose to join this team will be excellent and aligned with our school’s vision and mission, as well as what it means to teach a Montessori classroom at this level.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Karen Donovan
