We invite families to join us on March 19th at 9:30 am for our Symposium of Work, a celebration of the authentic, student-driven learning that defines the Oneness-Family Montessori High School experience. The Symposium showcases the culminating work from our X Term, an intensive three-week deep-dive in which students choose a field of study and immerse themselves in it with the focus and passion of a working professional.
This year’s X Term offerings: Graffiti, Street Art, and Sketchbooking; Creative Writing and Science Fiction; and Anarchism and Political Writing reflect our commitment to taking adolescents and their ideas seriously, offering them the intellectual freedom and real-world challenge that brings out their very best. The morning will include a gallery walk showcasing student work alongside formal presentations in which students share their learning, their process, and their growth. This is education as it was meant to be: meaningful, courageous, and alive. We hope you will join us.
