Summer Theater
Students from 3rd through rising 9th grade are invited to learn about drama in this two-week program, which will explore all the elements that make up a theater performance, focusing on meaningful stories and social change.
Summer Theater is a two-week program (June 17-28) focusing on political and social change theatre.
Students will focus on building skills in acting, set design, and physical theatre through drama games and play. They will then move on to explore directing, stage managing, producing and ensemble work. At the end of the program, students will perform an original summer show for the Oneness community as a culmination of their learning.
The Ethos of OFS Theater
- Young actors must work within a community, learning about the commitment and dedication that is required to do a show.
- We think holistically and socially about theater and the context of the play in the world.
The camp day begins with arrival from 8:30-9:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm, with opportunities for before and after care for those needing extended hours.
Dates: June 17-28
