Oneness Summer Theater

Students from 3rd through 8th grade are invited to learn about drama in this three-week program, and will explore all the elements that make up a theater performance, with a focus on meaningful stories and social change.

In Week 1, students will focus on building skills in acting, set design, musical performance, and drama games. In Weeks 2 and 3, students will explore directing, stage managing, producing, and ensemble work. Week 3 will culminate in an end-of-summer student show performed to the Oneness community as the culmination of their learning. Throughout the program, students will be introduced to political and social change theater through exercises and games.

The Ethos of OFS Theater

  • Young actors must work within a community, learning about the commitment and dedication that is required to do a show.
  • We think holistically and socially about theater and the context of the play in the world.
