Friday Update – November 7

Dear Peace Academy Families,

We had a wonderful week together! The students have been engaged, curious, and collaborative as we move through our November lessons.

A quick health reminder: there’s a cold going around our classroom community. Please encourage your child to wash hands frequently, cover their mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing, and get plenty of rest over the weekend.

As the weather keeps changing, our classroom tends to be either very chilly or quite warm. We recommend sending your child in layers, including an extra sweater and a pair of warm socks that can stay in their locker.

Please note that there is no school for students on Tuesday, November 11 due to teacher training.

Parent-Teacher conference sign ups open this coming Monday, November 10. The direct link to sign up will be located in the Parent Portal and an email blast on Monday. We encourage parents to meet us in person, but if they are not able to join us in person, please let us know and we can accomodate a virtual meeting.

We’re also thrilled to announce a very special field trip on Wednesday, November 19th, to the Italian Embassy! More details will be shared soon, it will be a memorable cultural experience for our class.

Wishing everyone a cozy and healthy weekend,

Warmly,

Emiko and Andrea
