Oneness Apple Sale
We are gearing up for our first big school fundraising event—our 17th Annual Apple Sale!
This year we are selling 5-pound bags of delicious Empire apples from Sunrise Orchards in Cornwall, Vermont, at $12 per bag. Throughout September, Oneness-Family School families help raise funds for our school's Oneness Fund by selling bags of apples to friends, family, and neighbors. All apple orders will be registered online, so please share this page with anyone interested in freshly-picked apples!
As a special limited item this Apple Fest, we are selling quart jugs of 100% Pure Vermont Maple Syrup, freshly-tapped this year by Trade Winds Farm, for $25 each. Order your maple syrup now, while supplies last!
Pay Your Apples Forward
In addition to purchasing apples to take home or deliver to your friends and family, there is also the option to buy a bag of apples for donation to DC Central Kitchen, is a nationally recognized "community kitchen" that receives food from around Washington, D.C., and uses it as a tool to train unemployed adults to develop work skills while providing thousands of meals for local service agencies in the process.
We encourage Oneness families to reach out to their friends and neighbors about purchasing apples to support a great cause!
Picking Up Your Apples
Families are invited to pick up their apples from our lower school campus at the Apple Fest on Saturday, October 5, and distribute them to their communities! For those who can't make it on Saturday, apples will be available for pick-up at the Lower School on Monday, October 7.
The school will arrange delivery of all apple donations to DC Central Kitchen.
