Apple Fest at Oneness-Family School (OFS)

Join us for
Apple Fest This October

All September long, we’re going door to door selling crisp Vermont apples and golden maple syrup straight from Cornwall, Vermont — all to support the Oneness Fund. Then the real fun begins: Saturday, October 3, 10 am – 1 pm, families gather on campus to pick up their apples and celebrate with crafts, games, and treats at our favorite fall tradition — Apple Fest!

Maple Syrup Too!

As a special limited-time item at Apple Fest, we are selling quart jugs of 100% Pure Vermont Maple Syrup, freshly tapped this year by Trade Winds Farm, for $25 each. Order your maple syrup now, while supplies last!

How It Works

Ordering Your Apples

Order your apples and maple syrup using our online form from now until September 25th. This year’s apples are freshly-picked Empire Apples from Sunrise Orchards in Cornwall, Vermont. They are crisp, tart, and perfect both for snacking and baking! Our maple syrup is from Trade Winds Farm, also in Cornwall, and is dark and robust with a rich maple flavor, perfect for cooking or drizzling on your favorite breakfast treats.

Apples may be picked up at Apple Fest on Saturday, October 3rd, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Pay Your Apples Forward

In addition to purchasing apples to take home or deliver to your friends and family, there is also the option to buy a bag of apples for donation to DC Central Kitchen, is a nationally recognized “community kitchen” that receives food from around Washington, D.C., and uses it as a tool to train unemployed adults to develop work skills while providing thousands of meals for local service agencies in the process.

We encourage Oneness families to reach out to their friends and neighbors about purchasing apples to support a great cause!

Picking Up Your Apples

Families are invited to pick up their apples from our lower school campus at the Apple Fest on Saturday, October 3, and distribute them to their communities! For those who can’t make it on Saturday, apples will be available for pick-up at the Lower School on Monday, October 5

The school will arrange delivery of all apple donations to DC Central Kitchen.

Apple Fest For All!

Our beloved annual fall fair, Apple Fest, is back! All are invited to join us Saturday, October 5, and enjoy all of the Oneness family favorites – moonbounces, arts and crafts, face painting, cornhole, and so much more!

The Main Event

While entrance to Apple Fest is free, activities require tickets, which can be purchased online beginning September 21st or at Apple FestWe strongly encourage pre-ordering tickets to avoid ticket table lines at Apple Fest.

The Apple Pass!

The Apple Pass wristband ($35) allows the wearer unlimited access to most games and activities at the festival, including the inflatable slide and the mini moonbounce. The Apple Pass does not cover the Wow Wheelz, face-painting, arts & crafts tables, or food at the event.

Individual Tickets

Tickets ($1 each) may be purchased additionally or in place of the Apple Pass and can be used for all offerings at Apple Fest, including food and drink.

All passes and tickets will be redeemed at the Apple Fest pre-orders table on October 3.
