Friday Update – April 17

Dear Peace Academy Families,

We had such a hot and fun week together. The energy in the classroom has been joyful, focused, and full of movement as we settle into these warmer spring days.

As temperatures continue to rise, you might consider sending a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, little towel or wipes to keep in your child’s locker. Some students have appreciated having a quick change option before recess or PE on especially warm afternoons.

Andrea will be out this coming week for planned leave, and we are so grateful to have Alex Fisher joining us as our substitute. I (Emiko) will be here with the students each day and will respond to any communication as promptly as I can while Andrea is away. We are wishing Andrea a restful and restorative time.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for two upcoming field trips:

Planet Word
Wednesday, April 29
Depart 9:15 am
Return 1:00 pm

Brookside Gardens
Wednesday, May 6
Depart 9:15 am
Return 1:00 pm

Wishing you a restful weekend, and we look forward to another meaningful week together.

Warmly,
Academy Teachers
