Friday Update – March 13

Hello Arbor Families! We have so many exciting events coming up!

  • Science Fair is less than a week away! It takes place on Thursday, March 19th, and the parent viewing is 12:30-1:30. Please let us know if you’d like to pick up your student at 1:30, as we know that is convenient for many of you. Please see Shelby’s emails to know when exactly to bring in your poster boards.
  • Spring Break starts Friday, March 20th, with a bonus day off! School resumes on Monday, March 30th. Enjoy your break!
  • Class Picture Day is Wednesday, April 1st, in case you want to dress sharp that day!
  • Bingo Night will happen on April 10th. Join us for a night of bingo, prizes, and delicious food from our Ambassador students. Please stay tuned for more details!
  • The Arbor class has selected ice skating for their class celebration this year. We will go to the Wheaton Ice Arena on Tuesday, April 14th from 12-2PM. Students will need to bring helmets and wear ice-appropriate clothing (even if we get another 80 degree day!). Students will not be required to skate, and are free to bring a book to read if they plan on sitting out, but we will also have skating helpers available for the students to take turns with. Parent volunteers are encouraged, but unfortunately we can only pay for the first three. We welcome more if they’re willing to pay the 9$ fee for free skate and skates!

As always, let us know if you have any questions!
