Save The Date – Echo Hill 2026

Dear Academy Parents,

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s overnight trip experience is officially set— we will be returning to Echo Hill! We can’t wait to share another unforgettable adventure with our students.

From April 6 to April 8, our Academy students will head to their annual overnight trip experience to Echo Hill Outdoor School for a memorable three-day, two-night trip! If your child has attended in the past, please note that Echo Hill offers multiple programs so we coordinate the experience to match what they are currently learning in class that year.

This experience is designed to engage students in hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and team-building activities in a fun and safe environment. They will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of nature-based activities, including:

  • Hiking and nature walks
  • Team-building games
  • Environmental science lessons
  • Wildlife observation
  • Campfire gatherings
  • And much more!

It is also a wonderful opportunity for students to bond with their classmates, learn about the environment, and create lasting memories. Our teachers, Emiko, and Andrea will be accompanying the students in addition to Echo Hill’s program-trained staff.

Important Details:

  • Dates: Monday, April 6 – Wednesday, April 8 (departing from OFS at 9:15 am and returning around 3 pm)
  • Location: Echo Hills Outdoor School in Worton, MD
  • Cost: $175 due by 2/1/25 (We will send an electronic form for payment that accepts debit/credit).
  • Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We are so excited about this opportunity to provide our students with a hands-on educational experience in the great outdoors!

More details will follow in January and February.

We appreciate your support, and we can’t wait for this adventure! Please let us know if your child will not be able to attend this year’s trip due to the dates.

Best regards,

The Academy
