Cycle 1 Week 7 Midweek Minute

Good afternoon,

We had an engaging and informative tour at Food & Friends yesterday where we learned about how the organization got started and what they do today. Ask your students about some of the fascinating facts that they learned about what Food & Friends does and what it takes to make their work happen every day. Although, as a group, our students are not old enough to work in the kitchen, we were able to support the work of Food & Friends by decorating bags that will be used to deliver birthday cakes to their clients.

Anticipation for next week’s UN Day is building! The Ambassadors will have our rehearsals in the Sanctuary this Friday morning (October 17) and next Thursday morning (Oct 23). It is important that everyone be present for our rehearsals. Please note the additional UN Day information in the “Important Dates and Reminders” section below.
