Bingo Night

Each January our High School class hosts a Bingo Night for the entire school! This event features several rounds of Bingo with cool prizes, guest callers, pizza and snacks, and fun for the whole family.

Bingo Night sometimes incorporates another school fundraiser: "Books & Bingo" adds a book sale to the mix, while "Board Games & Bingo" allows families to donate their (gently) used games for purchase to benefit the school! All proceeds benefit the High School Spring Trip Fund.

COVID-19 Protocols

If a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19

Per CDC Recommendations, we are counting Day 0 as the date at which the individual tests positive OR the date of last contact with a positive person. The next day is considered Day 1.

If a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19 they should isolate at home for 5 days and be symptom-free for the previous 24 hours to return on Day 6. A face mask must be worn on campus through Day 10.

Please note that in order to return on Day 6, students must be able to wear a well-fitting face mask correctly and independently.

If there is a positive case, the school will alert the community without identifying the individual(s) in question.

For Little Stars & CPG Families

Due to concerns about our youngest students being unable to wear a well-fitting mask for a full school day, we have added additional precautions to protect against the spread of COVID. Please read through the updated policy below:

If a Little Star student tests positive for COVID, they will need to stay home all ten days unless they are symptom-free and can wear a well-fitting face mask for the school day. If the student can do this, they may return on Day 6 on a half-day schedule, with dismissal before nap time.
If a CPG student who naps tests positive for COVID, they will need to stay home all ten days unless they are symptom-free and can wear a well-fitting face mask for the school day. If the student can do this, they may return on Day 6 on a half-day schedule, with dismissal before nap time.

If a student or staff member comes into close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19

As we have now reached a place where COVID-19 is now an illness in a similar category as our regular illnesses (the flu, common cold, strep, etc.), we have stepped down our close contact policies.

If a student or staff member comes into close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 they may remain on campus as long as they do not present any symptoms. The added precautions that were previously required – masking and taking a home test on Day 5 – are now optional.

For example, if an Academy classroom member tests positive, the classroom community will be notified, and parents and staff will have the option to wear a mask and/or test on Day 5.

The school will continue to notify parents of any positive cases in our community.

COVID-19 Testing

As of March 13, 2023, the school will no longer require school-wide testing after breaks.

Staff and students should test at home if they have any cold symptoms or if they have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive. Home rapid tests may be used for this purpose. If there is a positive test, the individual should stay home and follow our positive case protocol (above). Please get in touch with the school at schoolhealth@onenessfamily.org if your child has tested positive.

We will not be conducting PCR testing on campus this year, but we do have a robust supply of rapid antigen tests that we can use for exposures and also if a student becomes ill during a school day. We request that you have tests on hand in case your child develops symptoms or has an exposure.
