On November 22nd our high school students volunteered at Nourish Now Foodbank, a Montgomery County nonprofit which specializes in food recovery and provides donations from grocers, caterers, restaurants, bakeries, and other food donors for the benefit of children, families, and the elderly, as well as shelters, food pantries, and other organizations working to end hunger.
Students sorted food donations and helped assemble and label boxes of food in preparation for Thanksgiving meals to be given to community members in need.
