Announcing Three New Scholarships for 2020-2021

The Board of Trustees of Oneness-Family School is announcing three new merit scholarships. Two Maria Montessori Scholarships for $15,000 each and one Helen Kutt Scholarship for $10,000 will be awarded for the 2020-2021 school year. All scholarships will be available to students in 5th through 12th grade.

Candidates will be able to demonstrate positive leadership through their academics, personal lives, and community. Finalists will be invited to an interview with the Scholarship Committee.

Candidates are invited to write an essay of up to 500 words on one of the following topics:

1) What does it mean to be a leader in the  21st century? What are the key qualities that a leader needs to have today?

2) Describe a time when you stepped into a leadership role and made a difference. Share what impact this had on you.

Essay submissions should be emailed to Andrew Kutt at by Friday, February 14. Award recipients will be announced by March 1 through 15. All students who submit an essay will receive a reply. For more information about the scholarship awards, please contact Andrew Kutt at the email address above.

Oneness-Family School is an international Montessori school in Chevy Chase. The lower school (ages 2 - grade 8) is located at 6701 Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase. The new High School Campus is located at 9411 Connecticut Avenue in Kensington.
