Our Alumni

Alumni of Oneness-Family School go on to excel at area public and private schools and universities across the U.S. and around the world. Both alumni students and parents remain actively engaged in the social fabric of the school through lifelong friendships, alumni gatherings, admissions information sessions, and online networks. Prospective families receive alumni contacts during the admissions process to learn firsthand what they can expect for their child from a Oneness-Family School education. Because 60 percent of school families are based in DC and suburban Maryland and 40 percent are from the international diplomatic, research and finance communities, the connections fostered here form a resilient network grounded in peace and global citizenship for students and parents.

Check out some of our great alumni:

Louise Eriksson (attended OFS 2002-2008)

After graduating from Oneness, Louise went on to attend Richard Montgomery High School and came back to OFS to work as an After Care teacher and teacher aide for the Summer Camp. Louise's passion for visual arts led her to volunteer at VisArts in Rockville, MD, where she became inspired by other artists' dedication and enthusiasm for their work. Louise has painted murals and won several prizes and awards for her pencil drawings. Her art has been shown at several art exhibits and she is a two-time recipient of the “Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition” by Rep. Chris Van Hollen.

Kevin Lyons (attended OFS 2001-2004)

Kevin attended Oneness for 3 years and he continues to be well known for his kind and forgiving nature. His mother describes OFS as a "loving second family," which was especially helpful during a time of family loss. Kevin graduated high school, where he completed physics and calculus with honors. He is currently doing intensive studies in chemistry and Latin and will enter St. John's College in 2015. Kevin wants to be a physicist and mentor children with ADHD.
