The following admissions check list must be completed for a child's application for admission to be reviewed.
Once these steps have been completed, the teachers make their admission decision in consultation with the School and the Admissions Director. The decision to accept your child is based on the appropriateness of the Oneness-Family School curriculum and philosophy for him or her, the effect your child's admission would have on classroom dynamics, his or her previous school records and references. Teachers also consider the dynamics of the teacher/parent relationship as a significant factor in the admissions decision.
We are strongly committed to a richly diverse student body and seek, in both admissions and financial aid policies, to enroll children of varied socioeconomic, racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds. You will be notified by telephone of the admission decision. If your child is accepted , a confirmation letter and Enrollment Contract will be mailed to you.
Tour or attendance of Open House by both parents/guardians/persons involved in day-to-day care of the child (if applicable). Tours may be arranged on an individual basis If you are unable to attend an Open House.
Submission of Application for Admission, accompanied by $50 application fee. Please make checks payable to Oneness-Family School. Applications are processed in order of receipt. Applications are taken on a rolling basis.
Child visit. By visiting, the teachers are able to meet your child and observe him or her in the classroom environment. Students will be given tasks or assignments in order to assist the teacher evaluate their development and/or academic level.

3-6 year old children visit for one

first grade to third grade students
visit for half day (8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).

Grade 4 - Grade 8 students visit for an entire day (8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

Parent/teacher meeting. This is a meeting during which teachers explain the curriculum in more detail. Also, teachers will seek more information about your child's interests, strengths and needs.
Two Confidential Student Evaluation Forms. These may be completed by previous teachers or caregivers (for younger children).
Transcripts from your child's previous school. Please send the enclosed Transcript Release Form directly to your child's current school (if applicable).
Application Form - A form which you may print out and fill in.
Permission for Transcript Release Form - A form to be filled out by the school in which your child is currently enrolled.
Confidential Student Recommendation Form - A form to be filled out by a previous teacher or caregiver. Please provide two such forms completed.
