Oneness-Family School is a Montessori-based school with a peace focus, offering multi-age classrooms, serving students ages 2 through grade 8. Our approach is to educate the whole child, to provide a learning environment in which personal growth is valued as much as academic excellence.

Oneness-Family School, located 6701 Wisconsin Ave, Chevy Chase, MD, is hiring for this 2010-11 academic year (see below). These positions would be a great opportunity for those with flexible schedules and those wanting to gain additional school teaching experience to complement their resume.

Interns

The School is looking for volunteer student interns. This is a great experience for high school students needing community service hours and/or those who want to gain teaching experience.

Successful candidates will have:

• Experience in a diverse and/or international environment
• Experience babysitting or working with children
• The desire to learn and to have fun!

Substitute Teacher
Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience working with children.
• Availability Monday through Friday during school hours.
• An interest in education and teaching children.
• Some college courses or the 90-hour childcare certification.
